Doula Services in Lebanon
If you choose in-person doula support, here is what you can expect:
- We meet prenatally to get to know each other, discuss your preferences, and define how I will support you
- I meet your partner as well, so we can work together to support you both
- You can contact me anytime, even for early or uncertain signs of labor, I am always available for guidance
- I join you at the hospital when you are around 3 cm dilated, depending on your situation and birth plan
- If you have taken prenatal classes elsewhere, we will meet once before birth to review your preferences
- After birth, I stay with you for 1 to 2 hours to support skin-to-skin contact and the first breastfeeding session
- Unless there are exceptional circumstances, I remain with you throughout labor and birth
Virtual Doula Service
If you prefer a virtual option:
- We meet prenatally on Zoom to plan your birth preferences and support strategies
- I am available on call whenever you need reassurance or guidance
- During labor, I stay connected via WhatsApp or Zoom, supporting you and your partner throughout
- I help you follow your birth and nursery preferences and guide you step by step
- You can use a tripod or device stand for easier communication during labor
- I remain available online for 1 to 2 hours after birth to support skin-to-skin and breastfeeding
- As with in-person care, I stay available throughout labor unless exceptional circumstances arise
