Doula Service in Lebanon
If you choose in-person Doula support, here’s what you can expect:
- We meet prenatally to get to know each other, discuss your preferences, and plan my role as your support person.
- I meet your husband as well, so we can plan how I can best support both of you.
- You can call me anytime, even for mild symptoms or uncertain contractions — I’m always on call for you.
- I meet you at the hospital once you are around 3 cm dilated, depending on our discussions and the place of birth.
- If you already took prenatal classes elsewhere, we’ll meet once before birth to go over your birth preferences so I can advocate for you at the hospital.
- After birth, I stay with you for 1–2 hours postpartum, helping with skin-to-skin contact and the first breastfeeding session to ensure proper positioning and latch.
- Except for extraordinary circumstances, I remain with you throughout your entire labor and birth.
Virtual Doula Service
If you prefer a virtual option:
- We meet prenatally on Zoom to design your birth preferences and discuss support strategies.
- I’m available on call whenever you need guidance or reassurance.
- Once labor starts, I stay connected via WhatsApp or Zoom, guiding you and your husband throughout.
- I remind you of your birth and nursery preferences and help you navigate every step.
- You can use a tripod for easy video placement during labor.
- I stay online for 1–2 hours postpartum, assisting with skin-to-skin bonding and breastfeeding virtually.
- As with in-person services, I remain available throughout your labor and birth unless exceptional circumstances arise.
